La dernière fin de semaine fût un succès au cours de Niveau I à Montréal. Plus de 23 participants ont assisté à la formation donné par Roy Harvey. Nous espérons voir certains d'entre-vous disponibles sur le terrain cette saison ....

"Rugby Quebec asked me to conduct an IRB Level 1 Match Officials Clinic over last weekend.
The theory session on Friday evening went well, as participants became aware of the range of considerations relating to the task of match officiation.
The practical approach of the Saturday session, held in the new massive indoor facility at Concordia University's Loyola Campus, was a great success.
All 23 participants (a large number in their very early twenties) were put through the required refereeing skills in all aspects of the game.
By the conclusion I was partly 'whistle deaf' but very pleased with the result.
The clinic immediately precedes Montreal's interscholastic season and it is anticipated that this will provide an opportunity for further, appropriate experience.
Rugby Canada will be provided with related documents from Simon Davies within the very near future. "
Du côté de Québec, une formation de niveau II était présenté en français. Christian Brosseau, formateur de ce cours a pu recalifier 6 arbitres dont 5 de Québec et 1 représentante de Trois-Rivières. Tout comme leurs homologues de Montréal, nous espérons voir ces gens actifs sur les terrains cette saison en tant qu'arbitre.
